EPLA is Pleased to Announce Registration for the Girls 2024 Spring/Summer Season!

Teams: 8 U (K-2nd) -10U (3/4th) - 12U (5/6th) - 14U (7/8th)

FAQ:

When does the 2024 spring/summer season begin?

The 2024 Spring and Summer seasons will be combined into one registration.

  • Try Lax Day is April 28th at the EPHS dome.
  • Spring practices will begin in May.
  • Summer season games begin in June.
What are the age groups for the 2024 season?
  • 8U - Girls born between 9/1/2015 - 8/31/2017
  • 10U – Girls born between 9/1/2013 – 8/31/2015
  • 12U – Girls born between 9/1/2011 – 8/31/2013
  • 14U – Girls born between 9/1/2009 – 8/31/2011
What will the cost be for the 2024 season?
  • 8U:    $100
  • 10U: $315
  • 12U: $350
  • 14U: $370
  • 14U High School: $300 (starts after high school season ends)

What equipment will my player need?

A mouth guard, lacrosse stick, and goggles. Player will also need a US Lacrosse Membership.

Jersey/Shooter Shirt:

The association will be providing jerseys and shooter shirts to all girls who register for the season. Jerseys will be returned to the association at the end of the season to keep costs low. We may require a jersey deposit, which will be returned to families once the jersey has been returned to the association. Shooter shirts are yours to keep.

Is there a mandatory fundraiser?

No, there is not a mandatory fundraiser this year.

When will we have practices/games?

Spring Season

  • The Spring season will consist of practices and scrimmages and will begin in May.
  • Spring practices and scrimmages will be 2 days per week; one weeknight and Sunday afternoons.
  • Practices early in the season will be indoors at a local EP facility.
  • Practices will move outdoors once the weather warms up.

Summer Season

  • The Summer season will consist of games and practices; typically 3 days a week (mostly weeknights).
  • Games will be scheduled between June 12th and July 28th.
  • Game schedules will be available in early June.
  • Practice times and frequency will vary based on the game schedule.

Tournaments

  • We are planning on 2 to 3 tournaments this summer. 
  • Tournament dates, times and locations are still to be determined but will be on weekends.

Are there tryouts/evaluations?

We will only hold evaluations if there are enough girls registered to field multiple teams. We will contact registrants after registration closes to keep you informed.
 

Can non-EP residents sign up?

Yes. However, team sizes are limited. Priority will be given to EP residents.

US Lacrosse Membership Requirement

You must first register with US Lacrosse and then return to this Registration Session to signup.  If you have not already signed up with US Lacrosse, please follow these steps:

One-Time Birth Certificate Download

Parents will also be required to do a one-time download of a players birth certificate when renewing or signing up for a US Lacrosse membership.  This will also ensure that players are at the correct level.  MSLax allows age waivers from time to time for girls with extenuating circumstances.  

  • Step 1: CLICK HERE to go to US Lacrosse Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with US Lacrosse. Each player must have their own unique US Lacrosse confirmation number.
  • Step 2: Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the US Lacrosse Confirmation Number that you received in Step 1.
